V-Soft Lift PDO Threads with Dr. E. Ronald Finger

Dr.Finger offers the V-Soft Lift, an advanced PDO thread lift procedure designed to improve facial contours and address visible signs of aging. This minimally invasive treatment uses dissolvable PDO threads to gently lift sagging skin, restore definition, and stimulate natural collagen production.

How V-Soft Lift PDO Threads Work

Lifting Threads (V-Soft Lift)

Lifting threads are designed to reposition sagging skin and provide definition to areas that have lost structure. These threads are commonly used to improve:

• Cheek and midface support

• Eyebrow position

• Above the knees 
• Thighs potentially in the right patient 

Patients notice an immediate improvement after placement, and results continue to refine as collagen develops around the threads.

Smoothing Threads

Smoothing threads are thinner and placed more superficially. They are designed to improve skin texture and treat fine lines in delicate areas where volume loss or creasing is common. Smoothing threads are often used for:

• Vertical lines above the lips

• Subtle lip enhancement and definition

• Acne scars 

• Necklace lines across the neck

• Fine lines in areas where the skin is thinner

• Buttocks and Legs 

These threads focus less on lifting and more on creating structure and collagen support, which leads to smoother, firmer skin.

Results and Longevity

About 30% of results are visible immediately, with the remaining improvement developing gradually over three to four months as collagen builds. Results typically last 18 months to 2 years on average, but this depends on the area treated, the number and type of threads used, as well as age and lifestyle.

What to Expect

PDO thread-lifting is performed in-office and usually takes 45 minutes or less. There is little to no downtime, though mild swelling or bruising can occur for a few days. While PDO threads are ideal for mild to moderate sagging, they are not a replacement for a surgical facelift. When needed, Dr. Finger will discuss whether a traditional facelift may provide better results.

Fillers can be used to restore volume and do some lifting by default, but fillers are not designed to reposition tissue, creating a void of non-invasive options to address sagging facial skin. HA fillers such as Juvederm or, Restylane are short lasting in comparison to PDO threads, however combining HA fillers with PDO Threads can yield amazing results when used properly. Sculptra is an option, and so is Radiesse, but the best course of action for sagging skin is lifting threads.
